Men's Ministry

Highlands’ men strive to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

who we are

Serving the Church, congregation, and community is the mission of the Highlands Men’s Association. Wherever and whenever we can bridge the gap between “need” and “deed” we will do so. Christian love will be our mantra as we strive for fellowship, kindness, goodwill, and perseverance. Standing shoulder to shoulder, empowered by God, we will succeed.

“Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

The men of Highlands meet each week at 8:30am at the Main Street Restaurant located on Hwy 78 and Cooper Road. They meet together to share a meal and pray for the needs of the church and community. We invite you to join us as we fellowship together and bring our prayer requests before the throne of grace.

Men's Bible Study

Men’s Bible study will resume! Date TBD.

Men's Association

The men of Highlands carry out specific mercy ministries for the church and community as the need arises. They host the annual Valentine Banquet, the Fall BBQ, and the Community Cook Outs during the summer months. The men also host work days to encourage good stewardship of the Church building and grounds.

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
