Highlands Youth Ministry
Who We Are
Highlands Youth Ministry is a middle and high school youth group. We meet regularly during the school year on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 7pm and Sunday Mornings at 9am before the 10am worship service. We participate in a number of events throughout the year, such as retreats to Bonclarken, our denominations conference ground in Flat Rock, NC, mission trips, and service projects.
At Highlands, our goal is that the students would grow and flourish both in their Christian walks and in life. To that end, we exist as a place where students can be taught and encouraged from the Word of God, can be challenged to submit their lives further to Christ, and can be loved and supported as young adults. We pray that the students of the Highlands Youth Group would be like a tree planted by streams of water – one that prospers, is fruitful in season, and does not wither.
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:1-3
